Day/Night on the town.

Saturday morning the men left to play golf which left us ladies to our own devices. Needless to say, Savannah did not stand a chance! We scheduled a Pub Crawl but not just any pub crawl, we booked with Savannah Slow Ride! If you have not done a peddle pub I HIGHLY recommend that you do! Our driver Aaron was great and took us all around Savannah to several different bars where we could get different goodies or discounts. We quickly became friends with the other group on our tour and had a BLAST.

That night we really didn’t have any special plans until about 7 pm. I have spent many years of my life in Savannah and if you visit and have some downtime I highly recommend that you check out some of the different historical homes, or squares, or even certain streets such as Jones St. The views will truly take your breath away. I feel like such a true southern bell when I visit Jones St. Anywho, at 7 pm is when Savannah Smiles Dueling Piano’s opened. This was such a great time! We all got to put in requests for different songs. The environment was just such a fun and electrifying atmosphere! We wrapped up our night bouncing back and forth between Staffords Public house and PS Tavern. Both had such a great vibe yet totally different. PS Tavern had my new favorite drink, the Pickle Shot. (Don’t knock it until you have tried it!) and then Staffords Public House was such an amazing time! They had great drinks and the music could not have been better! We truly danced the night away!

If you find yourself in Savannah soon I hope you give these places a shot! However, if you are there and it is a quick visit I cannot allow you to leave unless you purchase some Byrd’s Cookies! These cookies have been in my life since I can remember and now to see what was once a tiny local company begin to expand to 3 locations it is amazing. You will NOT regret the Scotch Oatmeal Cookie OR the Key Lime Cooler cookie!

All in all it was a great time away from home and the daily stresses but I was ready to see my babies and get back into our grove.

xoxo Kayla
